The Joint Commission’s Environment of Care standard requires risk assessments for construction, renovation and demolition projects and mitigation of identified risks (Standard EC.02.06.05) They are commonly referred to as ICRA or PCRA assessments. Four Types (A, B, C, D) are utilized depending on the type of project.
